Trend Holidays acts strictly as an intermediary between clients and third-party suppliers such as hotels, transport providers, tour operators, cruise lines, visa providers, and activity organisers.

Trend Holidays structures its booking terms in line with recognised UK travel industry standards and the principles reflected in ABTA-style consumer protection frameworks, including the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

Please note that unless explicitly stated in writing, Trend Holidays is not a member of ABTA or ATOL; however, our booking terms are designed to reflect similar standards of transparency, supplier accountability, and consumer clarity commonly adopted within the UK travel industry.

All refund decisions are subject to the individual terms and conditions of these suppliers.

General Refund Conditions

  • Refunds are only applicable where permitted under the supplier's fare rules and cancellation policies.
  • Many travel services, including promotional fares, discounted tickets, hotel deals, cruise bookings, visa services, and special offers, may be fully non-refundable once confirmed.
  • Cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of cancellation and supplier policies.
  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows, partially used services, or voluntary changes made by the client.
  • Administrative fees charged by Trend Holidays or third-party suppliers may be deducted from any refundable amount.
  • Refund amounts may be affected by exchange rate fluctuations, banking charges, or international transfer fees.

Refund Processing Time

Where a refund is approved by a supplier, processing times typically range from 7 to 14 working days. In certain cases, processing may take longer depending on the supplier, bank, or payment method used.

Trend Holidays has no control over supplier refund timelines or banking delays.

Chargebacks

Clients are required to contact Trend Holidays directly to resolve any refund-related issues before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card provider.

Unjustified or unauthorised chargebacks may result in additional administrative fees and may affect future booking eligibility.

Supplier Responsibility

All refund approvals are governed by the respective supplier's terms and conditions. Trend Holidays does not guarantee refund approval and cannot override supplier decisions.

Force Majeure Impact on Refunds

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, political instability, government restrictions, border closures, airline or transport disruptions, strikes, industrial action, or any other force majeure event, any refunds, credits, rescheduling, or compensation shall be strictly subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the relevant supplier(s).

Trend Holidays shall not be liable for any losses, additional costs, delays, or disruptions arising from such events.

Financial Protection & Supplier Responsibility

Where packages involve multiple travel services, responsibility for performance lies with the respective suppliers delivering those services. Trend Holidays ensures reasonable care in selecting suppliers but does not directly control their operations.

Any compensation, refunds, or claims arising from service failure are subject to the relevant supplier's terms and applicable UK regulations.

Customer Protection Approach

In alignment with UK travel standards, we aim to:

  • Ensure transparency in pricing and service inclusions
